Pearl Daniels Munic, age 87 of St. Louis Park formerly of Duluth, passed away April 3rd. Pearl was a social worker for the State of Minnesota prior to raising her family. Later in life she started a second career as a volunteer and an activist for many organizations, including Planned Parenthood, The Women’s Health Center of Duluth, Northern Seniors Federation, Project SOAR , Private Industry Council of Duluth and the DFL. Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Robert. Survived by children Martin (Barbara) Munic and daughter Ruth (Hayward) Wong; granddaughter Sophia Miriam Munic. Graveside service 3:00 p.m. SUNDAY at the ADAS ISRAEL CEMETERY, 4820 Howard Gnesen Rd. (corner of Howard Gnesen Rd. and Martin Rd.) Duluth. Memorials are preferred to the donor’s favorite charity. Friends and family will return to the Adas Israel Congregation, 302 East 3rd Street, Duluth, following cemetery service. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 8th at Temple Israel, 2324 Emerson Ave. So., Minneapolis from 5 pm to 8 pm with a SHIVA service at 7pm.
